This is my third year teaching 1st grade at Newington.  Before becoming a teacher, I was a musician in the Charleston Symphony and flute teacher at CSU and the College of Charleston.  I went back to get my Masters degree at the College of Charleston in early childhood education and have been enjoying my second career.  I live in Summerville with my husband, two daughters, and our golden retriever.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the beach, shopping, and spending time with my family.
