About the Teacher

Ms. Deyo

 

        I teach fifth grade math, science, and social studies at Newington Elementary.   I have experience teaching 6th grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten. 

        I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.  I am a diehard Gamecock fan!  One year after graduating, I decided to attend graduate school at the College of Charleston to become a teacher.  I finished the program in December, 2004.

        Hello!  I am a fifth grade English and Language arts teacher at NES.  I have one year’s experience teaching 5th grade READ 180, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. 

        Like Ms. Deyo I am a graduate of The University of South Carolina in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a minor in Elementary Education.   I then went on to receive my Master’s of Arts in Teaching and graduated May of 2005.
